Educational programs

P&O practitioners working in P&O facility

The Human Study e.V. educational programs aim to install and inculcate professional orthotic-prosthetic practitioners with:

  • Fundamental technological knowledge, skills and ability to interpret, design and manufacture medically prescribed and appropriate orthopedic devices,
  • Knowledge of advanced technologies in rehabilitation,
  • Knowledge of various disability issues, pathologies, treatments, prescription rationale and the importance of promoting the Clinic-Team-concept and approach,
  • Knowledge of the principles and safety aspects,
  • A grasp of interactive empathy and social skills in work with disabled patients/clients.
  • Present comprehensive competencies to treat patients on evidence based criteria (prescription, treatment plan, etc)
  • Present competencies to manage (lead) a P&O facility
  • Present competencies with the clinical team to represent an appropriate professional level
