After the completion of several generations of students who successfully graduated from the Category II program, Human Study recognized that there was a great need for a Category II to Category I upgrade program, which would provide P&O experts throughout the world with an academic degree in orthopedic technology. Due to the non-existence and dramatic need of an upgrade bachelor prosthetic and orthotic education in most parts of the world, Human Study e.V. has launched an upgrade bachelor program for the ISPO Category II graduates.

This educational program is delivered in official cooperation with the Sirindhorn School of Prosthetics and Orthotics of Mahidol University and the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO)

This program aims at educating P&O experts who would represent the authority in the field of their profession, having the greatest experience and highest level of education. This program offers students the opportunity to evaluate a wide variety of actual patient pathologies and orthotic/prosthetic solutions and services that will sharply increase their professional skills and expertise. They also understand methodological and didactical methods, thus being able to become clinical instructors and mentors as well as teaching authority for all new practitioners in the P&O profession.

In this educational program, Human Study e.V. uses contemporary teaching methods and tools based on the distance learning (web-based) delivery of the academic content in combination with comprehensive practical education delivered through on-site demonstrational workshops with real patients, complemented with theoretical lectures, seminars, research topics and case studies.

Students who successfully graduate from this program acquire the Bachelor diploma/ISPO Cat. I certificate in Prosthetics and Orthotics issued by ISPO recognized Sirindhorn School of Prosthetics and Orthotics, Siriraj Medical Faculty at the Mahidol University.
