Thursday, February 5th, 2015 was the official start of the Human Study Category II Single Discipline Program in Egypt and Palestine. The program aims at educating technicians in the field of Category II so they would be able to facilitate the high patient demand. The project is being implemented in cooperation with MEK, Egypt and International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC), along with funding by Sequa. Currently, there are twelve Egyptian students and two Palestinian students. After a two semester (one year) program the work of the students will be closely followed through their clinical placement lasting six months, after which they are to undergo ISPO examination, and thus receive internationally accredited Single Discipline certificates.
