Our students in the Category II Educational Project in Tunisia graduated in May! The final examinations were held at the Institut Mohamed Kassan d’Orthopédie in Tunis. The project is a two-phased development support implemented in partnership with sequa gGmbH and financed by the German MoFA, together with the local stakeholders Centre d’Appareillage Orthopédique and Tunisian Ministry of Social Affairs.
Our partners on the project, sequa gGmbH made an excellent job with organizing this event into a pleasant and fruitful week for all participants, including the eight members of examination committee, two ISPO supervisors, and a number of honorary guests from the local and state institutions and representatives of the German Embassy in Tunisia. The coming together of these esteemed professionals from different corners of the world made it possible for many fruitful discussions to take place with their main aim and purpose being to provide support to the local development of the profession and further improvement of the necessary infrastructure.
Human Study and Sequa gGmbH will continue the cooperation on further developments of the profession in the country, training the trainers in the second phase of the project. Our efforts are aimed at establishing sustainable solutions for locally supported quality education.
